Job description
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To control the throughput of materials and packaging within the Warehouse and to issue finished goods to customer requirements in a safe and efficient manner as laid down in Company procedures and to ISO 9001. To assist the Warehouse Supervisor.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To receive, store, rotate, pick, pack and despatch customer orders as required.
2. To maintain Warehouse to the highest standards of cleanliness.
3. To regularly inspect and maintain any material handling equipment allocated to him.
4. To load and unload Lorries.
5. To carry out any other duties required by the Warehouse Supervisor - e.g. Cleaning IBC's, filling with product and labelling same.
6. To assist with regular physical stock counts and everyday tasks.
7. To carry out stock rotation and stock management as per Sika warehouse procedures.
8. To work closely with Customer Services to ensure all customer requirements are met, with receipt of product.
EXPERIENCE
* Forklift Licence - Reach & Conter Balance
* Orders picking & preparation for dispatch
* Basic Knowledge of Computers, Microsoft Word & Excel KEY COMPETENCIES
* Excellent English language skills
* Good organisational skills
* Attention to detail & Reliability
