Warehouse Operations Supervisor
Location: Kilpedder, Co. Wicklow
Reporting To: Warehouse & Logistics Manager

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day warehouse floor operation across inventory, dispatch, systems, and team management. The successful candidate will be a strong operational leader with experience leading warehouse teams, maintaining inventory accuracy, and working confidently within ERP or WMS systems, while supporting warehouse reporting and KPI tracking.

This role requires someone who is organized, proactive, hands-on, and comfortable taking ownership of daily warehouse activities within a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day warehouse operation across inbound, outbound, replenishment, and inventory activities

  • Ensure all orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time

  • Coordinate workflow and labour allocation across the warehouse operation

  • Support daily operational planning and prioritization

  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and operational standards

  • Confidently manage the warehouse floor operation on a day-to-day basis

  • Escalate operational risks or issues where required

ERP & Systems Management

  • Maintain accurate stock movements and warehouse transactions within the ERP system

  • Ensure all receipts, transfers, adjustments, and dispatches are processed correctly

  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and system issues

  • Support operational process improvements and warehouse system controls

  • Assist in maintaining warehouse SOPs and operational procedures

Inventory & Stock Control

  • Support and maintain inventory accuracy across warehouse locations and third-party storage facilities

  • Manage and support regular cycle counting activities

  • Investigate stock variances and implement corrective actions where required

  • Ensure stock replenishment and putaway activities are completed efficiently

  • Support stock takes and audit preparation

Reporting & KPI Tracking

  • Maintain warehouse operational reports and Excel-based trackers

  • Update and monitor KPIs including Order Accuracy, Dispatch Performance, Inventory Accuracy, and Cycle Count Completion

  • Support management reporting and operational reviews where required

  • Escalate recurring operational or stock-related issues

Team Leadership

  • Lead, support, and motivate warehouse staff across daily operations

  • Allocate workload and monitor team performance

  • Support training and onboarding of warehouse team members

  • Promote high standards of accuracy, accountability, and teamwork

  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety procedures and company policies

Skills & Experience Required
Essential

  • Previous experience within warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations

  • Experience leading teams within a warehouse environment

  • Strong ERP or WMS systems experience

  • Good Microsoft Excel skills

  • Strong inventory management and stock control understanding

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Ability to work within a fast-paced operational environment

  • Hands-on leadership approach with strong attention to detail

Desirable

  • NetSuite experience

  • Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PL)

  • Reach Truck license
