What does a Warehouse Sorter do?
The role is physically demanding but rewarding too. It involves a lot of walking and lifting, while maintaining an excellent standard of service to our customers. Load and unload packages from company vehicles, Scan, sort and label items and report any issues that arise – e.g., damaged packages or prohibited items.

What shifts are available?
There are various day shifts between 06:00 - 17:00. There are also several night shifts between the hours of 16:00 - 04:00. There may possibly be a mid-shift available between 12:00 & 20:00 too, but this has not been confirmed yet.

Describe the site environment?
The staff are very friendly and everyone gets on well, working together as one big team. The warehouse is around half a mile long with 178 bays along both sides of the building. There are four spines where all the manual parcels are sorted then sent out to the relevant bays to be loaded. It’s a very clean and safe environment to work in and, while the work is very physical it’s also very rewarding.

What are the key benefits of working here?
Free  parking is available, there are  canteen facilities, eating areas with vending machines and tea and coffee machines where you can pay on card, a gym, which only cost £14 a month and is open during all shift patterns.  There is also a prayer room located in the warehouse.

Is the site easy to access?
We do have public transport links but it doesn’t serve all shifts, so having your own transport would be an advantage.
