Manufacturing Graduate Career Programme
Our Manufacturing Teams are entering our most ambitious growth plan and now is the perfect time to join us and be a pivotal part of our future and journey.
Our Manufacturing Graduate Careers Programme enables you to work on a six-month rotational basis within four of our Mechanical Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Power; Link; Drive or REX departments.
To ensure your support and growth throughout the programme, you will be partnered with a mentor from one of our Strategic or Tactical tiers. You will meet monthly to discuss your development; receive guidance and support to fine tune your skills and give you the confidence you need to excel in your role and in your development. You will also be encouraged to give your feedback and views of the Manufacturing Graduate Career Programme along the way.
During your rotation you may be afforded the opportunity to support with an exciting X-Business Project. These significant projects will broaden your horizons and networking opportunities, giving you the opportunity to elevate your personal profile.
At the end of each six-month placement, you will have the opportunity to present an overview of your learnings to the Manufacturing First Line Management Team and share the new skills and knowledge you gained from any optional projects you may have contributed towards.
At the end of your two-year Programme, you will have the opportunity to apply for a permanent role with us and put your newly found skills into immediate use.
Alternatively, if you wish to learn about our wider business, you can apply to spend a third year on Programme. If you elect to join us for year three, we will give you cross-business training and additional technical competency training - enabling you the opportunity to work across our six departments on a two-month rotational basis in the areas of: People Services; Finance; Procurement; Commercial; Marketing and Quality. If you choose this route, you will be more likely to have a fast-tracked career to a management position due to your breadth of training and skillsets.
Stay with us for four years or more and we will support you on your journey to Chartership and help you to achieve the (IENG) Incorporated Engineer qualification in line with the UK Specification Version 4.
Whichever you decide, we will support you every step of the way.

Don’t just take our word for it - we asked Tom Rose (24), one of our Graduates, why he wanted to become an engineer and the love he has for the role. This is what he had to say:
"I enjoy the creativity that comes with solving problems and designing things, as well as seeing my creations come to life."
One of the big things that attracted Tom to Tevva Electric Trucks, was the changes we are making to the automotive industry and humanity generally.
"I always wanted to be in the automotive sector, and I love the outdoors and snowboarding...I also love the environment", he said. "This, coupled with my dissertation on hydrogen fuel cells, made Tevva the perfect choice."
He added: "I have learnt so much not only about my particular role, but I have gained so much exposure to all aspects of the Engineering department that I feel I have a far more rounded view of the real-world engineering process."
Tom thinks engineering is a great career path for anyone who enjoys solving problems.
He said: "If you enjoy thinking practically, engineering is perfect for you. And with so many different aspects to it there is something for everyone."
We are glad to have you on the Team, Tom.
